Dimensions and built:

The Atrix measures 117 x 63.5 x 11mm and weighs 135 grams while the Galaxy Advance measures 123.3 x 63 x 9.7mm and weighs 120 grams. The Atrix look more solid than the Galaxy Advance but it is not as slim and stylish as the Advance.

Looking on the length the Atrix is more compact but looking at the width the Advance is more compact. So let’s say that the Galaxy Advance is more compact because it is slimmer and lighter.

Display:

The Atrix has a 4 inches display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels and a pixel density of 275ppi. It supports multitouch and it is protected by Gorilla Glass and it has biometric fingerprint reader.

The Galaxy Advance also has a 4 inches display but it has a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and a pixel density of 233ppi. It supports multitouch but the screen isn’t protected.

So the Atrix is better at this category than the Galaxy Advance.

Storage:

The Atrix has an internal storage of 16 GB which can be extended up to 32 GB through a microSD card. It has 1 GB of RAM memory. The Galaxy Advance has an internal memory of 8 or 16 GB and it can be extended up to 32 GB through a microSD card. It has 768 Mb of RAM memory.

Considering the numbers I can say that the Atrix has won almost to the limit.

Atrix: 3G HSDPA and HSUPA speeds up to 14.4 Mbps respectively 2 Mbps, Wi-Fi with a/b/g/n standards, DLNA, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP + EDR, microUSB v2.0 slot.

Galaxy Advance: 3G HSDPA and HSUPA speeds up to 14.4 Mbps respectively 5.76 Mbps, Wi-Fi with a/b/g/n standards, DLNA, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP + HS, microUSB v2.0 slot, optional NFC.

We can see that the Galaxy Advance has NFC technology and higher upload speed on 3G data connections.

Camera:

Both phones have 5MP cameras with autofocus and LED flash but the Atrix can shoot 1080p videos while the Galaxy Advance can shoot 720p videos. The Galaxy Advance has a 1.3MP secondary camera and the Atrix has a VGA secondary camera.

Overall the Galaxy Advance takes better photos than the Atrix even they have same resolution at the camera.

Processing power:

The Atrix has both the chipset and GPU from Nvidia. It has an ULP GeForce GPU, Nvidia Tegra 2 AP20H and chipset a 1 GHz Cortex-A9 dual core CPU.

The Galaxy Advance has the Mali-400MP GPU, STE U8500 chipset and a 1 GHz Cortex-A9 dual core CPU.

So, the Galaxy Advance has a better GPU performance than the Atrix.

Battery:

The Atrix has a 1930 mAh battery which can last almost three days of normal use while the Galaxy Advance has a 1500 mAh battery which can keep the phone on for about two days.

Here it depends on how you use the phone, but the Atrix has a slightly better battery than the Galaxy Advance.
