Under the screen is the well known D-pad and all the navigation deck. All the buttons are made from a rubber-like plastic. Typing is quick and easy. The left side of the phone features the regular Fast Port. On the right side it has the volume rocker which can be used for zoom in the camera app of in the browser. Also it has a little round knob on the left side which serves as camera shutter.
The TFT display has 2.2 inches. It has a resolution of 230 x 320 pixels and a pixel density of 182ppi. The contrast and sun light legibility of the display are quite good, they don’t disappoint. It is a compact and light weight candybar measuring 110 x 45 x 14mm and with a weight of 90 grams.
The ELM has an internal storage of 280 Mb which can be extended up to 16 GB through a microSD card. Phone also has an accelerometer sensor. Other features that is has are: noise cancellation with dedicated microphone, HD voice ready, SenseMe, TrackID, Walkmate, CO2 Calculator. The phone is made from Eco friendly materials and it is splash resistant. All in one you have many things to play with on the ELM. The phone also has stereo FM radio with RDS and GSP with A-GPS support and Wisepilot navigation.
At connectivity it stays very good the same as a smartphone I can say but without an OS. It has EDGE speed up to 247 Kbps, HSDPA up to 7.2 Mbps, HSUPA up to 1.8 Mbps, Wi-Fi with b/g standards and DLNA, Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP + EDR and a microUSB 2.0 slot. It comes with NetFront browser preinstalled.
The camera has a 5MP sensor with autofocus and LED flash. It offers features like face detection, auto-rotate, smile shutter, macro mode, geo-tagging, metering and many others. The photos have pleasing colors and very good quality and contrast with well balanced noise levels. The camera can shoot VGA videos at 30 fps.
The battery has 1000 mAh. It can keep the phone alive around three to six days depending how you use it.
