LG Pop

The LG Pop is a cute little phone with a touchscreen display. It can be added a solar panel on the back of the phone so you can charge the phones battery with solar energy. Have a look at its main features:

Above the screen is the ear piece speaker and under the screen it has only one hardware button which serves multiple different purposes depending on context. On the left side it has the volume keys and the microUSB port while on the right side it has the dedicated camera button. On the top of the phone we find only the power button.

LG says that the solar panel offers 2 minutes of talk time or 180 minutes of standby time per every 10 minutes of sunlight exposure. The Pop has a 900 mAh battery which can keep the phone alive for 7 days with only one charge. In 7 days you can have calls, take some photos and play with the phone features.

The display is TFT resistive with 256k colors. It has 3 inches and supports a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels and a pixel density of 155ppi. The phone weighs 87 grams and has 97.8 x 49.5 x 11.2mm.

The LG Pop supports a microSD card up to 16 GB. The internal memory has 42 Mb. The phone features an accelerometer for auto rotate, browser with xHTML and HTML support and stereo FM radio with RDS.

At connectivity it has EDGE class 12, Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP and a microUSB 2.0 slot.

The camera has 3.15MP and can record QVGA videos at 15 fps. The pictures have a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and their quality is quite good for a phone in this class.
